Caminhos In Action

Caminhos In Action (C.I.A.) is a day held once a month in which students can participate in different social projects, helping nearby communities and people in need. Each month we organise a C.I.A. activity such as painting houses, street cleaning or helping to build houses and gardens in a local community. Around Christmas and Easter time we also provide special events for children who live in the communities we help.

Length of Appointment: Typically 1 day.

Time Commitment: 4 to 8 hours.

Qualifications: Friendly, easy-going, enthusiastic and eager to participate.

Graphic Designer

Purpose: Volunteer opportunities in Brazil to support the humanitarian cause of Mais Caminhos thus contributing in a loving and caring way to the underprivileged children in our programme from the communities of Pavão-Pavãozinho and Cantagalo.

Length of Appointment: Assignment varies depending on volunteer jobs. Typically we require one to four days per week for a period of one week to six months.

Time Commitment: Depending on the volunteer job one to four days per week (Monday to Thursday).

Qualifications: Depending on the volunteer job we might require an intermediate level of Portuguese. Experience with volunteering is preferred.

Photo and Video Editor

Purpose: Volunteer opportunities in Brazil to support the cause of Mais Caminhos thus contributing in a loving and caring way to the underprivileged children in our programme from the communities of Pavão-Pavãozinho and Cantagalo.

Responsibilities: Take pictures, film and edit videos of the ongoing activities at our organisation.

Reports to: Mais Caminhos Manager

Length of Assignment: Assignment varies depending on volunteer jobs. Typically we require one to four days per week for a period of one week to six months.

Time Commitment: Minimum commitment of one week.

Photo and Video Editor Depending on the volunteer job we might require an intermediate level of Portuguese. Experience with volunteering is preferred.
